We made it HOME to celebrate Kaelyn's second birthday! They discharged her around noon yesterday and she has been one very happy little girl! And we have been two very happy parents. Those last couple days were really hard because she was doing so well, and we had to keep insisting that they send us home. We understand that they want to be cautious, but we understand that we are her parents and know when our girl is well and what we can handle at home. She is doing great and loving life. She got to come home and take a bath in the BIG tub and splash around all she wanted, she got to wear a new birthday outfit and jump in her beloved jumper, which she smiled the entire time. She even got to ride her new pink rocking pony and blow out the candles on her birthday ice cream. Okay, so dad had to help her with that before she grabbed the open flame. It was a great day and we are oh so happy to be home and healthy! Bring on SUMMER!
Kaelyn and Grandma LaJean. Grandma and Grandpa gave her the pink guitar in the back ground. It is signed by the one and only George Strait! It was auctioned off to support Primary Children's Hospital. Kaelyn is one lucky girl!
Her other Grandma and Grandpa gave her this little rocking pony (Cotton Candy-Named by Jeana).
This was definitely a "Pink Cowgirl" birthday for her.
"Cotton Candy" is very cuddly, just like Kaelyn. They make a great pair.
She'll have to grow into the hat :)

Yeah!!!! We are so glad she came home. We were talking about her having her 2nd birthday yesterday with the boys. We thought she was still in the hospital and how not fun that would be! Yeah for Kaelyn. Happy #2! Luv ya!

Yeah!! I am so glad Kaelyn was able to come home from the hospital just in time for her birthday. I can't believe she is already 2 years old. Time sure flies by fast.
