Most of the country celebrates Valentines “Heart” day on February 14, but here in our house Heart Day is February 17th. One year ago today we took our little girl in to have open-heart surgery. How amazing it is to look back and see how far she has come. That little heart of hers worked so hard to sustain her before her surgery, and so far it continues to thrive. We are so grateful for the amazing doctors and surgeons that did their part in keeping our little miracle here with us. So today we celebrated her "Heart-iversery" by wearing red and playing with some of her buddies.
