A group of us moms met up with a new mom and the cutest little baby boy with Down syndrome.

The day finally came for little Alek to join our family. August 2, 2019!  Check out Wayne in his OR gear. Not quite as cool as the scrubs he got at Kaelyn's birth but made for a good laugh.

Little man was having trouble with his breathing so they put him on C-Pap to help open his airways.

He was doing well for a little while and got to come up to our room. It was so fun having sometime with him and the girls. When they took him to the nursery to do his check-up he was working really hard to breath so they had to admit him to the NICU.

He was cracking up the nurses with how he liked sleeping with his arms all sprawled out.

While we were in the hospital we had all sorts of family here helping with and staying with the girls.

Kaelyn finally made it up to meet little brother. First thing she tried helping him out by trying to rip his oxygen out of his nose.

Finally got to take our baby boy home after seven days in the "Big House" as we call it. He came home on a little wisp of oxygen but didn't need it too long.

One morning before church Bryn told Wayne she wanted to go pick flowers and take them to the neighbors.

While we were at the hospital with Alek Jaymi had her first girls camp. She went up for a couple of the days and had a lot of fun!

Bryn's first day of school. She is starting 2nd grade at a new school this year and was excited that she doesn't have to wear uniforms anymore.

The school is just a couple block away so she was excited to push little brother on her first day.

During his late night feeding one day I was watching volleyball and he was refusing to watch it with me!

Jaymi had to wait for us to figure out her school situation when things didn't pan out as planned at the Charter we were at. She was super patient while we got it all squared away and was so excited to join her bestie Mia at the school over by our old house. I can't believe its her last year of elementary school!

The girls and I made these little pictures of Wayne's favorite things and hung them around the house for fathers day. It was Bryn's idea and she was so excited to surprise him with them.
