We have been doing our best to soak up the last bits of sunshine and make some fun memories with family and friends. The girls and I took one last trip to the pool before it closed for the season.
The girls love when they get to have slumber parties in the family room. Since it was Labor Day the next day the got to have one to celebrate. Kaelyn wanted in this time and spent a few minutes cuddling with her sisters before heading off to her bed.
Kaelyn and her cousin Caedin have the cutest little relationship. He is so sweet with her and she knows he is one of "her peeps".
Jaymi has been enjoying another season of TOPS special needs soccer. One of the best parts for me is watching the helpers learn to interact with our children. What a great opportunity for them to take time from their day to learn to hep children with special needs play a sport they love.
Bryn loves to come to the games so she can play with our little buddy Eddie. His cute sisters are being helpers for Jaymi's team and so he gets to come and hangout with his dad.
Jaymi's cheer coach Morgan got married and we went with some of our friends to the reception. They all loved seeing her in her beautiful dress.
The girls with one of their helpers last year, Hallie. She loves our girls so much and as you can see they all absolutely adore her.
We took a trip to Bear Lake with our friends the Nelson's and Anderson families. Grandpa Bonner even let us borrow his boat!
Bear Lake is one of my favorite places to visit in Utah. The water is bright blue and the landscape is gorgeous.
The kids thought we were at the ocean and had so much fun playing in the shallow water and beach.
The water was absolutely perfect for wake boarding and I felt like I "still had it".
We made sure to tucker the kids out so they would sleep well, as you can see it worked.
We rented this awesome condo that was more like a glorified garage. It was perfect for all our little kids, we didn't have to worry about them spilling or breaking anything.
Wayne and I got to spend a few days at Jackson Hole for a work leadership retreat. I got to go as the "spouse" so I have some free time to read, sleep, exercise and walk while he had meetings. I thought the girls would get a kick out of this stuff bear attacking me.
Such beautiful landscape.
We went on a little hike with everyone up to Moose Lake.
One our way back down the trail we saw what we had all been hoping for...A REAL LIVE BLACK BEAR. It was about 50 yards from us and was not in the least bit interested in all the people and cars checking him out.
This little fox was waiting to greet us outside our cabin one morning.
One of the evenings we went to the Bar J Wranglers program and Wayne went all out and ordered the "everything" meal. He had Steak, Chicken, Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket and the sides. I think he was the only one in the whole place that got it.
It was cloudy and raining most of our stay but the last day it finally cleared up and we got the beautiful view of the freshly snowed on Teton Mountains.
MY BABY BRYN TURNED 4!!! She has been waiting for the day all year and was so excited when it finally came. She is obsessed with growing up and tells me every day that she wishes she was a mommy. Of course I remind her to enjoy this carefree time in her life and to stop growing up!
She was excited to have her chance to sit in the middle and open her birthday presents.
I love the excited look on her face!
She was a big helper and helped frost and decorate her own cake.
I love how Kaelyn came up to see what we were up to.
A couple days later we had a little birthday party with her friends. It was a pajama-movie party. We served Minnie Mouse waffles and everyone got their own bucket of popcorn and candy corn marshmallows to eat during the movie, Home.
Everyone loved little baby Lydia, especially the birthday girl.
Bryn has the cutest little friends, we love having them over to play.
Wayne and his brothers gave dad a rappelling trip to Moab for fathers day, so they took that the last weekend of September and had a blast.
Yes they went down that cliff! Yikes, we are glad they all returned home safe and sound.
Like I said, Bryn loves little people, it is so sweet to watch her love on them. This is her friend's little brother.
She still loves holding her buddy Blake.
Kaelyn sharing her iPad time with her sisters.
Kaelyn is seriously into everything these days! She was in the house alone for less than 5 minutes and I come back in to find her carnation canister had been thrown off the counter, popcorn spilled everywhere and she had already made it down stairs to play with her toys. I'm telling you she is hitting those 18 month stage where its time to finally toddler proof the house for her.
Waynes sister had a little baby girl, Lydia and Bryn was so excited to get to hold her. She loves babies and tells me all the time we should get one.
Bryn played on a little rec soccer team with some of her friends from the neighborhood. She looks pretty cute in the uniform, thats for sure.
These two are definitely in it for the snacks!
Kaelyn's school went bowling and her teacher sent me these pictures of her having the time of her life. They said she did awesome and thought it was something she did all the time. We are going to have to get her signed up for a league!
Kaelyn didn't have time for a picture so her backside is all that we got.
These cute girlies heading back to cheer practice.
The girls and I got to go to our buddy Bennett's first birthday party and his grandpa brought his pony for the kids to ride. The girls were in heaven.
They also got to take his sister Violets car for a spin, this was a little too nerve racking for me, especially when Jaymi was driving!
Bennett's cute big sister Violet, she is so sweet!
Jaymi's school had a fun run this month and Jaymi did awesome!
