Yesterday we celebrated Heart Day here in the Bonner house. We started the day by singing happy heart day songs and danced around the house in happy heart day pj's. (We just got lucky with that one and happened to dress Kaelyn and Bryn in pajamas with hearts on them the night before.
In the afternoon we took Kaelyn to do one of her favorite summer time activities, swimming. Being winter and all we hit up the indoor pool at the local rec center. Sadly she had more fun sitting out of the pool than in it. She is like her mom in that she is a fair weather swimmer. If the sun is beating down on us, then the pool is all fun and games, but if its a little bit chilly, no thanks. It was still a fun time though.
We rushed home, got showered up and went out to dinner. Kaelyn loves to go to restaurants, sit in the high chair and just watch all the excitement. Luckily we got out early enough that we just missed the rush.
We had a fun time celebrating the day that Kaelyn's broken heart was fixed 2 years ago. Its a very important day in our family. At her cardiology appointment last week everything looked good and we don't have to go back for ONE WHOLE YEAR!
We have also had lots of fun trying out some new hair styles this week.

Happy Heart Day Kaelyn, we remember this day well. Such a tiny and mighty fighter girl you are. All 2 pounds 11 ounces and all and look at you now. Pig-tails AND a big sister. And Bryn sure is a little doll, just like you.
Zoey loves to people watch, in fact it is her most favorite thing to do by far. Starbucks is her place of choice. Hoping one day you guys can sit and people watch together.
Love to you all. How time flies. Seems like only yesterday I received that email from you, telling of the coming of your miracle. What a blessing it has been to watch and now, a new chapter, a new daughter for the Bonner Family. We are so excited for you guys!
Happy Heart Day Dumpling!!!!
Both your girls are growing like weeds! Gorgeous weeds! :)
Ok, have to tell you this. my husband tries desperately to keep up with all the kids and bloggy friends I have. But can't keep names straight to save his life. To make things easier for him I started to just use nick names or other things to help him keep everyone straight. Kaelyn, will forever be "the baby who wore her daddy's ring" in my house.
Happy Heart Day!!!
Sounds like such a fun celebration for such a great day!
Happy Heart Day Kaelyn!!!! Bryn is getting so big - hope to see you guys soon!
