Summer Time Fun

We have really been trying to live it up this Summer and enjoy being outside. Kaelyn's had a few respiratory viruses that have set her back and kept us indoors, but once she is feeling better we are out going to the pool, going for walks, riding on parade floats, family reunions, BBQ's with friends, family hikes and of course boating with Grandpa. Kaelyn loves the water and her favorite part on the boat is when we are taking off and going really fast. She just loves having the wind blow her hair all over the place. She is really working on her flexibility skills too. As I type she is laying on her tummy in the chinese splits. That is her preferred way to get out of sitting. Whatever works I guess :)

Working on her flexibility, it pretty much comes natural :)

Yep, its that time of year! Couldn't resist buying the girls matching cheerleader outfits for all the volleyball and basketball games we will be attending this year.

Working on cheerleading stunts with dad.

This one's perfected, now they are working on the "one legger".

Our family hike to Donut Falls.

During the hike I told Wayne we would need to see if they make Double Backpacks to put both girls in after the baby gets here, I could barely do the easy hike holding nothing. I guess it may be a bit easier when I'm not 7 months pregnant, but I'm still looking for a double back pack :)

Playing on the Ipad.
Does anyone know of great apps for Kaelyn on the Ipad? If so please share.

Reading stories with daddy.

Still working on eating, she likes to wear it more than eat it at this point :)

She's getting really good at Peek-a-boo. She's quite animated when she returns.

Riding on Grandma LaJean's float, she's the little one on the back riding her pink pony.

The app we use all the time is called Word Slapps. You can do all sorts of things with it but we use it to encourage speech sounds and to identify simple objects (dog, hat, car, etc.) The other one our speech therapist uses alot is Choice Board Maker. Let me know if you have any others.

We don't have an ipad so I haven't checked it out much, but I hear others like it.

Thank you for my Kaelyn fix! She is getting so big and I cannot wait to see her with her baby sister.

Freaks me out everytime I see Wayne do that, but you are right, they have perfected through time!

Hi
My name is Jenna and I came across your site. Kaelyn is an amazing, courageous, strong and determined fighter. She is a brave warrior, smilen champ and an inspirational hero. She is an earthly angel, and a precious, and special gift. I was born with a rare life threatening disease, and love it when people sign my guestbook. www.miralcechamp.webs.com
